An episodic, absurd murder mystery sent straight to your phone. 

Hot Cousin’s ode to Agatha- an experimental adaptation of Christie’s beloved novel The murder of Roger Ackroyd. It’s camp! It’s violent! As always, really it’s about us! 

Over 12 surreal, visually extravagant digital episodes, we’ll ruminate on true crime, the justice system, parasocial relationships and british stereotypes. Oh and of course solve a murder. A big fat juicy murder. 

Murder Ballad! is made by Hot Cousin and premiered as part of Omnibus Theatre’s digital programming in 2023. The work is available for digital touring.
